Shopify Developer

Coalition Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Shopify Developer to build, customize, optimize, and maintain high-performing eCommerce websites. This role is ideal for a professional with strong experience in Shopify theme development, Liquid, and modern front-end technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Building custom Shopify sections, blocks, and reusable front-end components to enhance site functionality.
• Optimizing and extending core Shopify theme features with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Using the Shopify Storefront GraphQL API to implement advanced features beyond standard Liquid capabilities.
• Integrating and customizing third-party apps and platform-supported extensions within Shopify themes.
• Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to Shopify while ensuring SEO and CRO best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Shopify website development.
• Expert-level knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and ECMAScript.
• Proficiency with Shopify CLI, Metafields, Metaobjects, and the Storefront GraphQL API.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and W3C standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
