Sherpa Language Expert

micro1 is seeking a skilled Sherpa Language Expert to contribute to a cutting-edge project focused on training next-generation AI systems. In this fully remote role, you will leverage your deep linguistic knowledge to help models better understand, reason, and interpret real-world language, ensuring high-quality data output.

Key responsibilities

• Transcribe video content in the Sherpa language with precise timestamp alignment to ensure data accuracy.
• Analyze and describe the emotionality, tone, and intent of speakers to improve AI interpretability.
• Edit and refine transcription outputs to maintain expert-level linguistic and grammatical standards.
• Investigate and define the conceptual meaning of Sherpa terms and expressions to provide deep linguistic insights.
• Perform complex language tasks, including contextual translation and semantic evaluation.

Requirements

• Fluency in both Sherpa and English, with strong proficiency in written and spoken communication.
• Experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic analysis, particularly with audio or video content.
• Ability to articulate emotional context, speaker intent, and cultural nuances effectively.
