Service Now SAM Pro Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SAM Pro Specialist to support our Software Asset Management operations. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with SAM Pro, strong data quality discipline, and the ability to work independently in a structured, fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring data accuracy, software compliance, and alignment with cybersecurity and governance requirements. You can start on the very beginning on January 2026!

Key Responsibilities

• Data Deduplication & Cleaning
  • Identify, review, and resolve duplicate software asset records in ServiceNow SAM Pro (publishers, products, vendors, software models).
  • Improve data accuracy and consistency across the SAM repository.
• Contract & Catalogue Maintenance
  • Create and maintain software contract records.
  • Configure and manage ServiceNow catalogue items.
• Entitlement Onboarding
  • Upload, validate, and reconcile software entitlements in ServiceNow SAM Pro.
  • Ensure proper mapping between entitlements, software models, publishers, and associated contracts.
• Normalization
  • Standardize software titles and publisher names.
  • Apply best practices in software model normalization.
• Cybersecurity Review Support
  • Identify freeware titles not yet assessed by Cybersecurity.
  • Flag and coordinate items for cybersecurity review and follow-up actions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro (including software models, entitlements, normalization, and discovery data review).
• Strong understanding of the Software Asset Management lifecycle and entitlement management.
• Experience configuring and maintaining ServiceNow catalogue items.
• Knowledge of software governance, compliance, and risk management processes.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity processes as they relate to software assets.
