Senior/Leading Angular developer (Angular + Django)

KOIA is seeking a hands-on Senior/Leading Angular Developer to join a long-term project for a Scandinavian fintech client. You will take technical ownership of the frontend architecture for an Accounting Practice Management System, working closely with a Django/Python backend to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions for thousands of enterprise users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve scalable Angular applications while maintaining high standards for code quality and security.
• Take technical ownership of the frontend architecture and make complex architectural decisions.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, architectural guidance, and mentoring other experienced developers.
• Integrate AI-assisted development tools into engineering workflows to accelerate delivery while ensuring maintainability.
• Collaborate across the full stack, utilizing Python and Django to support product growth.

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial software development experience with extensive expertise in Angular and TypeScript.
• Proven experience in designing and evolving large-scale Angular applications in production.
• Strong proficiency in modern Angular architecture, including Signals, RxJS, and state management.
• Solid experience with Python, Django, Django REST Framework, and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical direction in a small, high-performing team.
