Senior UX Research and Design Specialist

We are seeking a Senior UX Research and Design Specialist to bridge the gap between educator insights and high-quality web design within our K-12 assessment platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research, including focus groups, interviews, and usability testing with educators.
• Translate complex user feedback and research findings into high-fidelity web designs, intuitive screen flows, and interactive prototypes.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities and benchmark our EdTech solutions.
• Design accessible teacher dashboards that simplify student data and align with the realities of classroom instruction.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure design specifications are production-ready and technically feasible.

Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in UX research, interface design, or digital analytics architectures.
• Mastery of contemporary UI wireframing and prototyping tools, specifically Figma.
• Strong ability to communicate research artifacts like personas and journey maps to technical and leadership teams.
• Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field.
• Understanding of front-end development principles, including HTML5 and CSS3, to facilitate developer handoffs.
