Senior Treasury Manager

Finom is a rapidly growing European fintech startup on a mission to revolutionize financial management for entrepreneurs. We are seeking a Senior Treasury Manager to join our team and take ownership of our liquidity, safeguarding, and treasury governance as we continue to scale our operations across key European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily liquidity positioning, float management, and intraday funding across multiple entities and accounts.
• Oversee the portfolio management of safeguarded client funds, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory requirements and mandate constraints.
• Develop and maintain a robust treasury governance framework, including investment policies, limit frameworks, and decision-making logs.
• Lead the implementation of treasury and investment accounting systems to replace manual processes and improve data accuracy.
• Engage with regulators, external auditors, and financial partners to ensure compliance and optimize commercial terms.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in treasury, ALM, fixed income, or portfolio management within a regulated financial institution.
• Direct, hands-on experience with client money or safeguarding under PSD2/EMD regulations.
• Proven track record of building or materially rebuilding a treasury function from the ground up.
• Strong technical command of bond math, yield, duration, and credit risk at the instrument level.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work directly with complex position-level data.
