Senior Test Manager

ManpowerGroup is seeking an experienced Senior Test Manager to lead critical testing initiatives during a large-scale migration from mainframe assembler applications to a modern Java/SQL environment on Linux. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality, reliability, and efficiency of the transition through strategic oversight and technical leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document a comprehensive testing strategy for complex system migrations.
• Integrate advanced testing methodologies, including unit, functional, and comparison testing, into the project framework.
• Define and implement appropriate testing tools, such as X-Ray, to streamline quality assurance processes.
• Coordinate and oversee all testing activities, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Act as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, including architects, developers, and management teams.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated test team while assessing resource needs and supporting team growth.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience as a Test Manager in complex, large-scale projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Deep expertise in testing methodologies, with a strong focus on unit and functional testing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration across diverse teams.
• Proven experience working within Agile development environments.
