Senior Test Engineer

KUBO is looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer to join a newly established team supporting a global industrial automation company. You will play a key role in developing the next generation of industrial I/O modules by ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded firmware.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and executing comprehensive test scenarios for embedded firmware used in industrial I/O modules.
• Verifying system functionality and ensuring seamless communication between various embedded devices.
• Analyzing complex network traffic and troubleshooting communication issues to maintain system integrity.
• Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python to streamline the testing process.
• Collaborating closely with firmware and hardware engineering teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in embedded systems testing.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and practical experience with network traffic analysis.
• Proficiency in Python programming for test automation purposes.
• Experience working within Linux or other embedded environments.
• English proficiency at a B2 level or higher, enabling effective daily communication with international teams.
