As a Senior Test Engineer – API and Network Validation, you will be working for our client, a leader in innovative energy solutions dedicated to optimizing complex power systems. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the reliability and functionality of energy network algorithms, supporting the company’s mission to advance sustainable and efficient energy management.
Your main responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements collaboratively with business analysts to craft comprehensive test cases.
- Prepare detailed test scenarios and support key users in performing manual tests, including API and network algorithms validation.
- Develop and procure test data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for internal and cross-team testing needs.
- Execute manual testing across functional, non-functional, integration, and end-to-end process scenarios.
- Conduct tests on network algorithms, API integrations, and system functionality to validate energy management solutions.
- Analyze test results, interpret data, draw conclusions, and document findings in detailed reports.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) processes and assist in troubleshooting issues.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in testing, with strong focus on energy systems or similar industries.
- Proven expertise in manual testing, API validation, and network algorithm testing.
- Practical knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA.
- Experience in analyzing complex system requirements and translating them into effective test cases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Knowledge of SoapUI or Postman for API testing.
- Certifications related to software testing or energy systems.
Language Required for the role:
Polish – good command of spoken and written language is required for collaboration and documentation.
English – communicative proficiency for internal communication and reporting.
