Senior Test Automation Engineer

Red Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated testing frameworks. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications by implementing a shift-left testing mindset and integrating automated solutions directly into our CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using modern tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable test code using Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to identify risks early and drive a culture of quality throughout the SDLC.
• Perform API testing and validate data integrity using SQL and backend database queries.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in building automation frameworks and a deep understanding of the testing pyramid.
• Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language suitable for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with REST API testing tools and methodologies.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis, investigate failures, and minimize flaky tests to improve overall reliability.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments with a focus on collaborative quality engineering.
