Senior Technical Writer

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Technical Writer to design and automate AI-driven software documentation for end users, developers, and system integrators. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how technical information is delivered and maintained within our product ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to design documentation architecture and automation patterns.
• Establish documentation standards and build governance and quality gates into automation systems.
• Refine prompt templates, style guides, and content models to enable high-quality documentation at scale.
• Write, edit, and review documentation to validate automation output and identify areas for improvement.
• Measure documentation impact using analytics to inform content strategy and system evolution.

Requirements

• 4+ years of technical writing experience, specifically with software documentation for SaaS or cloud platforms.
• Deep familiarity with prompt engineering, AI tool configuration, and iterative design.
• Strong technical comfort with APIs, event streaming, system architecture, and data models.
• Proficiency with Markdown, YAML, Git, and version-controlled workflows.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
