Senior Technical Project Manager (ITS & Authoring Systems)

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery and strategic evolution of our content authoring platforms, acting as a critical bridge between business goals and technical execution.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the system roadmap by assessing technical feasibility and infrastructure scaling needs for software projects.
• Facilitate technical design discussions and distill high-level business goals into detailed technical specifications and API definitions.
• Serve as the primary technical interface for external organizations and state educational agencies regarding system integrations.
• Lead data interoperability efforts, focusing on secure integrations, standardized data pipelines, and educational data frameworks.
• Perform root-cause analysis on production failures and write custom SQL Server scripts to validate and isolate data errors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in technical project management, including hands-on software development or system design leadership.
• Proficiency in writing relational SQL Server scripts from scratch to analyze complex datasets.
• Strong understanding of back-end architecture, RESTful APIs, webhooks, and secure data-sharing frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to track large-scale engineering lifecycles from initial planning through to deployment.
