Senior Technical Program Manager (R6371)

Shield AI is a mission-driven defense-tech company dedicated to protecting service members and civilians through advanced intelligent systems. We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our PMO and lead complex enterprise technology and systems delivery initiatives across our global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management for technology implementations, platform migrations, and system integrations from initiation through go-live.
• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams by integrating business, engineering, infrastructure, and data activities into a single, executable project plan.
• Build and maintain detailed schedules, milestone plans, RAID logs, and dependency trackers to ensure disciplined project governance.
• Coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and external vendors, to ensure alignment on scope and deliverables.
• Identify, track, and escalate risks and dependencies with urgency to ensure the project remains on track and meets critical path objectives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years specifically leading technology implementation or integration projects.
• Strong understanding of technology delivery lifecycles, including planning, design, testing, data migration, and stabilization.
• Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining clear accountability and tight schedule control.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Solid command of project management fundamentals, including scope management, governance, and status reporting.
