Senior Technical Product Manager / Senior Technical Proxy Product Owner (Java)

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager or Technical Proxy Product Owner to take ownership of a critical enterprise application within a complex, Java-based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, stabilize, and evolve a complex enterprise Java application while balancing new features with technical debt.
• Translate intricate business requirements into actionable technical tasks and prioritize the product backlog.
• Analyze REST APIs, JSON payloads, and integration flows using tools like Postman and SQL to support root-cause analysis.
• Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning in close collaboration with backend engineering teams.
• Triage production incidents and maintain clear visibility of project risks, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical PM, Technical PO, or Proxy PO within complex enterprise IT environments.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience or deep familiarity with Java-based architectures.
• Practical understanding of REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and the ability to write SQL queries for data inspection.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Business-fluent English proficiency and the ability to work autonomously in a remote-first environment.
