Senior Technical Consultant - R&D Cloud Solutions (Remote)

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to join our R&D Cloud Solutions team. In this strategic role, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert for Life Sciences leaders, owning long-term technical strategy and driving the evolution of our Clinical or Regulatory platforms while collaborating directly with our internal R&D engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute complex platform configurations, custom workflows, and system enhancements across Clinical or Regulatory Vault platforms.
• Guide enterprise clients through migrations from legacy systems to modern SaaS solutions, applying structured change management to minimize risk.
• Partner with client IT leadership to negotiate technical trade-offs and align complex business requirements with standard platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal Product Management and R&D teams to provide direct feedback that shapes future software releases.
• Provide technical mentorship and architectural guidance to junior consultants within our regional hub.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience implementing or administering core business and IT operations technology solutions, ideally within Enterprise Content Management.
• Proven technical leadership experience in guiding project teams and senior stakeholders through complex technical decisions.
• Prior experience with Veeva Vault, enterprise CRM platforms, or cloud architectures in regulated industries.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to drive client adoption during cloud migrations.
• Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
