Senior Technical Business Analyst

RemoDevs is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst / Proxy Product Owner to join a long-term enterprise project. You will work on a business-critical platform supporting insurance claims, helping to bring structure and stability to a complex ecosystem of integrations, REST APIs, and legacy components.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and the backend engineering team.
• Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and technical tasks.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, balancing new features with technical debt and bug fixes.
• Analyze REST APIs, JSON payloads, and integration flows to support system development.
• Triage production incidents and coordinate resolutions across technical and business teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Proxy Product Owner, or in a similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and backend system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI documentation, and SQL for data analysis.
• Proven ability to work autonomously in environments with incomplete or ambiguous requirements.
• Fluent English communication skills with experience using Jira and Confluence.
