Senior Technical Business Analyst

emagine Polska is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join the Risk, Product Control and ESG IT department. This role involves supporting complex change initiatives within a production-facing financial services environment, requiring a consultant who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business and technical analysis for change initiatives from scope definition to implementation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and solution designers to translate requirements into functional specifications, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze current and target-state business processes, system flows, and data dependencies.
• Define and document business rules, calculation logic, and reconciliation requirements.
• Support the full testing lifecycle, including functional, regression, and UAT, while ensuring production readiness.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior or Technical Business Analyst in complex enterprise technology environments.
• Proven ability to work as a peer to senior developers and architects with strong technical fluency.
• Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency in SQL and understanding of relational databases.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, messaging architectures, and structured data formats like JSON and XML.
• Experience working in Agile or structured SDLC environments using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
