Senior Systems Engineer

Converge Technology Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our Application Modernization practice. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage advanced observability and AIOps solutions, leveraging your expertise in event management and automation to enhance IT operational efficiency and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain IBM Netcool Operations Insight and IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps environments.
• Integrate diverse monitoring tools, event sources, and topology data to ensure holistic observability across systems.
• Develop complex automation workflows for incident remediation to reduce mean time to resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT operations while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Design and develop custom reports and policies to integrate with third-party systems.

Requirements

• Over 7 years of total experience in IT, with at least 4 years specifically focused on IBM Netcool Operations Insight and AIOps platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Netcool Omnibus, Impact, and Cognos Analytics in high-availability environments.
• Proficiency in deploying components within the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Strong knowledge of event management, ITSM integration, and observability frameworks.
• Solid scripting skills in Python or Shell for automation and system customization.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related technology field.
