Senior System Analyst (Platform) (Hybrid or Remote)

Vivid Money is seeking a Senior System Analyst to join our Platform team and take ownership of core banking, payments, and transfer domains. You will work end-to-end on complex technical initiatives, from initial solution design and partner integrations to production support, within an AI-native organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis for complex, integration-heavy initiatives across core banking and payments domains involving multiple internal services and external partners.
• Design technical solutions, including APIs, data models, and integration flows, while ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain clear technical specifications, system documentation, and integration contracts.
• Collaborate with Product, Finance, and Compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable technical plans.
• Investigate and resolve production issues by tracing transactions and coordinating with operations to identify root causes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar technical role within the fintech or banking sector.
• Confident SQL skills for data extraction and incident investigation.
• Strong practical experience leveraging AI coding assistants to accelerate development and automate workflows.
• Solid understanding of system architecture patterns such as microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and asynchronous messaging.
• Proficiency in architectural visualization tools like UML and Mermaid to document system behavior.
