Senior System Administrator

Link Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to lead IT project deliveries and oversee complex infrastructure environments. In this role, you will develop sophisticated system standards, recommend performance improvements, and define best practices for cloud-based deployments while acting as a technical mentor for the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT projects, develop project plans, conduct risk assessments, and implement contingency plans.
• Develop high-level system standards and document support procedures and best practices.
• Resolve complex issues across physical, virtual, and cloud deployments.
• Assist with hardware, software, and vendor evaluations to stay ahead of technology trends.
• Coach and mentor team members while interacting with peer technical groups.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft Application Servers, and Modern Management.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft 365, Office 365, Azure, and Intune.
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory/LDAP administration and Group Policy design and configuration.
• Strong experience with VMware or Hyper-V and a solid understanding of core networking and troubleshooting.
• Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
