Senior Structural Engineer

Sweco Design Center Poland is an internal design hub within the Sweco Group, providing expert engineering and architectural services for international projects across Europe. We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team and contribute to sustainable infrastructure and building projects in collaboration with our partners in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation of comprehensive structural documentation and detailed structural calculations.
• Design and modeling of load-bearing structures for various building types using FEM and BIM methodologies.
• Preparing project materials across all phases, from initial concepts to final execution.
• Close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to ensure project quality and technical accuracy.
• Providing expert guidance and supervision throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Over 10 years of professional experience in calculating primary structural elements for both new construction and renovation projects.
• Advanced proficiency in structural analysis software such as Robot Structural Analysis, FEM Design, or MathCAD.
• Strong expertise in concrete elements, foundations, and fundamental static principles.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
