Senior SRE or DevOps engineer in networking-heavy infrastructure (Remote)

Webshare is an enterprise-grade proxy platform delivering fast, self-service access to over 80 million global IPs across 195 countries. We are looking for a Senior SRE or DevOps engineer to join our team and help maintain our highly reliable infrastructure, which supports tens of thousands of businesses worldwide in their data collection and web scraping efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve our production infrastructure while leading the migration from Docker Swarm to Kubernetes on-premises.
• Maintain high availability across hundreds of servers and approximately 50 services.
• Drive observability initiatives in close cooperation with the development team.
• Establish and enforce Infrastructure as Code practices and ensure CI/CD pipeline reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead infrastructure incident resolution, including post-mortems and systematic remediation.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and operating highly available infrastructure at scale with hundreds of servers and real production load.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in self-hosted or bare-metal environments.
• Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and solid scripting or development skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify problems independently and keep the team informed.
• Familiarity with Python or Go is highly valued, as is experience with networking-heavy infrastructure or proxy services.
