Senior SQL Database Administrator (SP)

Alter Solutions is seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator to join our team and support our regulatory risk platform. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our MS SQL Server environments, working in a fully remote capacity to deliver high-quality database solutions for our international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain MS SQL Server databases in both On-Premises and Azure environments.
• Perform database performance management, including proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Execute complex query tuning and optimization to ensure platform efficiency.
• Implement and manage high availability solutions to guarantee system reliability.
• Configure and maintain database settings to meet evolving business and scale requirements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in database administration.
• Strong technical expertise in MS SQL Server and SQL language.
• Proven experience in performance management and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of high availability concepts and configurations.
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
