Senior Software Solutions Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Solutions Engineer to join our team focused on Mellanox Networking, DGX Platforms, and enterprise-grade system software. In this role, you will balance your time between solving complex customer challenges and engaging in impactful R&D work, ensuring the reliability and performance of our cutting-edge networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of customer issues related to Ethernet or InfiniBand network adapter and DPU deployments, driving them from inception to resolution.
• Develop innovative features and tools to support enterprise service offerings and enhance the overall experience with NVIDIA networking products.
• Collaborate closely with internal engineering teams to document, recreate, and resolve technical issues.
• Provide independent analysis and expert communication to improve the availability and reliability of our systems for enterprise customers.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in system software development and troubleshooting, with a strong background in customer-facing roles.
• Proficiency in C/C++ development within kernel, application, or embedded software environments.
• Deep understanding of GNU/Linux, including the networking stack, kernel, and Linux-based virtualization technologies like containers and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
