Senior Software Solutions Architect (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients and facilitate technical workshops with customers and their service providers

• Take on technical project leadership, including solution design, specifications, and effort estimation in agile software development projects

• Design and document the overall architecture of large software systems consisting of multiple applications and their interactions

• Define system-wide architecture, design, and implementation guidelines and best practices

• Coach, mentor, and support software developers and other team members

• Select and evaluate tools and systems that meet business requirements

• Support sales activities and proposal development, including technical solution design and effort estimation

• Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification

• Several years of experience in technical consulting

• Proven experience planning, facilitating, and structuring technical workshops

• Extensive experience in technical leadership and/or solution architecture design

• Strong software engineering background and ability to work across a wide range of technologies, architectures, and ecosystems

• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD processes

• Curiosity and interest in understanding complex IT landscapes and performing “architecture archaeology” to identify the best solutions for clients, teams, and systems

• Interest in supporting sales processes, with experience working closely with clients and translating their needs into effective solutions

• Excellent German and good English communication skills, both written and spoken, C1

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to combine strategic vision with practical implementation requirements

• Passion for the field and willingness to continuously learn, apply knowledge, and share it with others
