Senior Software QA Engineer

Tenarai is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software QA Engineer / SDET to join a team building a modern, cloud-native order management system for the airline industry. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of a high-scale, low-latency platform that processes millions of global transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated API test frameworks for cloud-native microservices in a monorepo environment.
• Develop and execute automated tests using BDD (Cucumber) to ensure full coverage of product features.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for regression and release testing.
• Identify, diagnose, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects efficiently.
• Lead test planning and execution while providing detailed quality and release readiness reports.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as an Automation QA Engineer or SDET.
• Strong proficiency in Java, TestNG, and RestAssured.
• Expertise in BDD frameworks (Cucumber) and API testing (JSON/XML/gRPC).
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and the full SDLC.
• Familiarity with containerized environments (GKE/Docker) and cloud-native testing in GCP.
• Legal work permit in Poland is required.
