Senior Software Engineer (TypeScript & React Native)

Zencoder is building and orchestrating AI agents that ship real work, ranging from code and research to complex operations. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our early-stage team and help scale our platform into a world-changing business that redefines how software is created.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build key features across our technology stack, including TypeScript, React Native, Kotlin, and Rust.
• Apply a product-focused mindset to think deeply about user needs and propose new features for growth.
• Take full ownership of projects, driving them from initial concept through to successful launch.
• Collaborate within a fast-moving, cross-functional team to push the boundaries of AI-assisted development.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience building complex, production-grade applications with deep expertise in React Native.
• Strong backend development experience in languages such as Kotlin, TypeScript, Java, Python, or Rust.
• Solid computer science foundation and a proven record of applying modern architectural principles.
• Deep familiarity with the evolving AI landscape and the ability to translate trends into practical product improvements.
• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to thrive in dynamic, early-stage startup environments.
