Senior Software Engineer (Python)

CodiLime is a software and network engineering expert partnering with global tech leaders. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team working on a leading network source-of-truth platform, focusing on building integrations that connect the platform to complex third-party network systems.

Key responsibilities

• Designing and maintaining integrations that connect the platform to third-party network controllers and systems.
• Developing discovery agents that securely extract device, interface, and topology data from customer infrastructure.
• Building and maintaining services and APIs to deliver discovered data into the platform's ingestion layer.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and participating in rigorous code reviews.
• Applying AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate development and improve testing reliability.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Python and building REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools in your daily engineering workflow.
• Solid experience with unit testing, ideally using pytest.
• Fluency in Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.
• Working understanding of core networking concepts such as VLANs, BGP, and DNS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Minimum C1 level of English proficiency.
