Senior Software Engineer

Priority Pass Limited is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a cross-functional team focused on designing and building cloud-native, greenfield products. You will take ownership of new features and capabilities, working in a high-trust, high-autonomy environment to deliver scalable and secure software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code while owning complex features and services from design to deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and QA teams to refine requirements and scope technical solutions.
• Champion automated testing and CI/CD practices, including unit, integration, and contract testing.
• Build, deploy, and monitor services in AWS using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to the evolution of engineering standards and practices.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of software development experience with a strong focus on TypeScript (Node.js and React).
• Proven experience building and running production systems in AWS using EKS, Lambda, and RDS.
• Proficiency in designing GraphQL and RESTful APIs with practical knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
• Deep understanding of event-driven architectures and automated testing principles using Jest and Pact.
• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines and using monitoring tools like DataDog to debug production issues.
