Senior Software Engineer

VIDOC SECURITY LAB is a team of hackers building an AI Security Engineer, developing state-of-the-art AI agents for cybersecurity. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our mission-driven team and help us push the boundaries of security automation.

Key responsibilities

• Build prototypes and take them all the way into production, owning the entire development lifecycle.
• Collaborate directly with founders and the tech team to define product direction based on real user needs.
• Develop and scale distributed, high-performance scanning systems on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Work across our core stack including Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Optimize services for scalability, stability, and observability as our customer base grows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with strong proficiency in full-stack TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of building and shipping products that are used in real-world environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently without relying on predefined specifications.
• Genuine curiosity about LLMs in production and a willingness to challenge ideas to ensure the best technical outcomes.
