Senior Software Engineer

VIDOC Security Lab is a team of hackers building an AI Security Engineer to automate security code reviews at a human-level performance. We are looking for a first-principles thinker to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer, helping us push our product forward and build state-of-the-art AI agents for cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities

• Build prototypes and take them all the way into production, owning the entire development lifecycle.
• Collaborate directly with founders and the tech team to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain our core platform using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Work on distributed, high-performance scanning systems on AWS and Kubernetes to scale infrastructure.
• Optimize services for scalability, stability, and observability as our customer base grows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proven track record of building and shipping products that are used in real-world environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently without relying on predefined specs.
• Genuine curiosity about LLMs in production and a willingness to challenge technical decisions.
