Senior Software Engineer

Cotiviti is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team, where you will play a vital role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of innovative software products. You will work on expanding our current systems and developing new components using big data and emerging technologies in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in defining product-level architecture and design component-level architecture.
• Take full ownership of specific features and software components.
• Utilize a test-driven development approach to deliver high-quality, commercial-grade code.
• Perform thorough code and design reviews to ensure system integrity.
• Conduct hands-on development and maintenance of complex software applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on coding experience using Java and SQL.
• Practical knowledge and work experience with Oracle or similar database systems.
• Proficiency with J2EE Application Servers and Java-related technologies such as Servlets, JSP, JDBC, and XML.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while contributing effectively to a team environment.
