Senior Software Engineer (.NET / Java & AI Development)

Antal is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in .NET/C# or Java to join a forward-thinking team. This role focuses on high-quality enterprise software development, integrating modern AI-assisted coding tools and Specification-Driven Development (SDD) to streamline the delivery of scalable and reliable applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust enterprise applications using .NET/C# or Java.
• Utilize advanced AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor to accelerate the development lifecycle.
• Translate complex business requirements into structured specifications and production-ready code.
• Review, validate, and refine AI-generated solutions to ensure high standards of security, quality, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and engineering teams to deliver scalable software solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in .NET/C# (preferred) or Java.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools and specification-first engineering approaches.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to critically assess and improve AI-generated code.
