Senior Software Engineer (Java/React; 100% remote)

DevsData LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join an international engineering team focused on building innovative, business-critical applications. This role offers the opportunity to engage in full-stack development, cloud-native engineering, and modern Extreme Programming practices within a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and design complex services, APIs, front-end features, and integration workflows.
• Mentor developers through pair programming, code reviews, and design sessions.
• Turn business requirements into robust, maintainable, and testable technical solutions.
• Champion test-driven development, continuous integration, and evolutionary design.
• Own the full engineering lifecycle from technical discovery through production readiness.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with large-scale systems.
• Expert-level Java proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• 4+ years of experience building front-end applications with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container-based environments like Kubernetes, and cloud solutions.
