Senior Software Engineer (Java&Kotlin)

Rite NRG is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on developing a JVM-based, event-driven platform. You will take full ownership of features and components, managing the entire lifecycle from initial system design and development to production deployment and ongoing reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design and delivery of software features and components.
• Create and maintain system designs using the C4 model to align with target architecture.
• Develop reliable, production-ready code using Java and Kotlin while utilizing AI coding tools.
• Manage delivery risks, estimation, and cross-team technical dependencies.
• Oversee monitoring, production support, and system reliability.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience with a proven track record of end-to-end ownership.
• Strong expertise in the JVM ecosystem, specifically Java and Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and database management including PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud service providers.
• Fluency in Polish and advanced proficiency in English.
