As a Senior Software Engineer in our Communications team, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing and scaling our high-availability messaging platform that supports millions of customer interactions globally.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve reliable backend services for high-volume communications across multi-region, multi-tenant environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to articulate technical constraints and balance customer impact, risks, and trade-offs.
• Implement and operate resilient integrations with external messaging vendors, focusing on reliability, latency, and cost.
• Support service availability by defining service-level objectives, improving alerting, and participating in on-call rotations.
• Foster engineering excellence by mentoring team members and improving standards for design, testing, and code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a deep understanding of system design and architecture.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python or Kotlin.
• Proven track record of developing highly available distributed systems using technologies like AWS, MySQL, DynamoDB, and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing multi-region, multi-tenant platforms with strong isolation and scalability guarantees.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to support effective collaboration within a global engineering team.
