Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Financial Platforms)

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to articulate technical constraints and make informed trade-offs.
• Proactively identify and resolve project, process, or technical issues to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Support the operations and availability of team artifacts by monitoring metrics and participating in on-call efforts.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting high code review and design standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency in designing and launching backend systems at scale using Python, Kotlin, or similar languages.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to building web applications with declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to support effective collaboration within a global team.
