Senior Software Engineer (AWS & Data)

CYCLAD is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and focus on building robust cloud-native applications. You will play a key role in designing data processing solutions and developing full-stack features within a modern, scalable AWS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS services including Glue and ECS.
• Build and optimize complex data processing solutions utilizing AWS Glue and PySpark.
• Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Design and implement intuitive user interfaces using React to ensure seamless integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience in AWS cloud-native development, specifically within data-intensive projects.
• Strong hands-on expertise with AWS Glue, PySpark, and containerized environments like ECS or Kubernetes.
• Solid background in frontend development with React and backend API development using FastAPI.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline design and infrastructure automation with Terraform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
