Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Med-Metrix is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our production applications, focusing on both front-end and back-end functionality to deliver high-quality features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement full-stack features using TypeScript, Angular, and Node.js within a serverless AWS architecture.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and WebSocket services while managing databases using DynamoDB.
• Manage cloud infrastructure through CDK and CloudFormation, ensuring scalability and security.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to define requirements and share technical knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards and information security policies when handling sensitive data.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web application development.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Angular, rxjs, and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of designing and deploying features in a cloud-based environment, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with serverless technologies, Lambda functions, and NoSQL databases like DynamoDB.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on collaborative teamwork.
