Senior Software Engineer - AI

Usersnap, a brand within saas.group, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of AI-driven capabilities. You will be responsible for designing and shipping end-to-end AI features, working within a high-trust, fully remote environment to solve complex product challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship AI-powered features from prototype to production.
• Work hands-on with LLMs, embeddings, and AI tooling to solve real-world product problems.
• Own technical architecture, model selection, and integration strategies while balancing quality, cost, and latency.
• Build across the full stack, ensuring features are tested, monitored, and maintainable.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to establish best practices for AI development and technical planning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping AI features to production.
• Strong fullstack fundamentals with comfort across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Practical experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, and evaluation metrics.
• Data competence, including SQL, schema design, and pipeline construction.
• Production readiness mindset, including Docker, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to own outcomes in a lean team.
