Senior Snowflake Engineer/Architect with Data Security

Spyrosoft is seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Architect to join our growing data team. This role is ideal for a professional who combines deep technical expertise in Snowflake and Azure with strong architectural thinking, security awareness, and excellent communication skills to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, architect, and optimize scalable data solutions using Snowflake and Azure.
• Lead Snowflake architecture initiatives, ensuring performance, scalability, and security best practices.
• Conduct Snowflake Data Platform assessments, focusing on security and scalability.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or Bicep.
• Define and enforce data security standards, including access controls, encryption, and auditability.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to data engineering teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and Azure.
• 2+ years of experience as a Snowflake Architect.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake security and data protection mechanisms.
• Advanced data modeling skills and strong communication abilities.
