Senior Snowflake Developer with Airflow, Data Warehouse Platform

DataArt is seeking a Senior Snowflake Developer to join a project focused on building a robust data lakehouse. You will play a key role in designing scalable data pipelines, optimizing warehouse structures, and ensuring high-performance data processing within a modern cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable ETL and ELT pipelines within the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Design and optimize Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, and materialized views.
• Orchestrate complex data workflows using Airflow and Python.
• Implement layered and Medallion architecture principles alongside dimensional modeling.
• Collaborate on performance tuning and query optimization for Azure SQL and Snowflake environments.

Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional IT experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to data projects.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake platform engineering, including SQL, stored procedures, and UDFs.
• Proven experience with Python and Airflow for data orchestration.
• Solid background in Azure SQL Database, MS SQL, and T-SQL development.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and layered architecture.
