Senior Snowflake Developer

Antal is seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Developer to join a dynamic Data Engineering team. This role focuses on taking ownership of advanced data warehouse initiatives within a modern cloud environment, combining hands-on engineering with architectural leadership to support BI, Analytics, and Data Science teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement modern data platforms including Data Warehouse and Lakehouse architectures.
• Architect and build scalable ETL/ELT frameworks while ensuring optimal performance.
• Configure Snowflake environments, including security, RBAC, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Lead complex Snowflake migration projects and modernize legacy data processing frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members while communicating architectural decisions to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in designing data platforms and working hands-on with Snowflake.
• Proven expertise in public cloud environments, with a strong preference for Azure.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python, alongside deep knowledge of data modeling techniques like Medallion and Kimball.
• Experience in implementing robust security and data access control mechanisms.
• Demonstrated ability to lead migration projects and work directly with enterprise-level clients.
