Senior SLAM Engineer (C++/Python)

Svitla Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior SLAM Engineer to join a dynamic team working on cutting-edge AI innovation and computer vision solutions for a prominent American mobile computing company. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing advanced localization and mapping technologies, focusing on high-performance device inference.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve SLAM algorithms and related localization and mapping components.
• Evaluate and apply modern SLAM approaches based on specific product and project requirements.
• Improve the robustness, accuracy, and performance of localization and mapping solutions.
• Analyze algorithm performance, identify limitations, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and research teams on integration, testing, and optimization.

Requirements

• Strong practical experience with SLAM techniques.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python.
• Good knowledge of recent SLAM approaches and developments in the field.
• Understanding of optimization techniques commonly used in SLAM.
• Experience working with real-world sensor data and debugging complex perception systems.
