Senior Security Network Engineer

Awareson Sp. z o.o. is looking for a Senior Security Network Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on the administration and development of advanced security solutions, providing an excellent opportunity to work on complex network infrastructure projects in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Administration, configuration, and ongoing operation of Fortinet security solutions.
• Participation in the design and implementation of comprehensive IT security strategies.
• Conducting vulnerability analyses, security assessments, and risk evaluations within the network environment.
• Collaboration with internal specialist departments and external partners on various projects.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including network concepts and operating manuals.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in IT security and network technology.
• In-depth knowledge of Fortinet technologies and network security principles.
• Sound understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, SSL inspection, web security, NAC, and endpoint protection.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Independent, structured, and security-conscious approach to daily tasks.
