Senior Security Engineer

We are looking for 2 Senior Security Engineers to join a long-term security initiative for one of our clients from the banking sector. You will become part of the Security Engineering team, working on improving the security, resilience, and governance of the organization’s Active Directory environment.

This role is ideal for experienced infrastructure and security professionals who have worked in large enterprise environments and enjoy solving complex identity and security challenges.

Your Responsibilities

• Improve and secure enterprise Active Directory environments across multiple domains and forests

• Identify, analyze, and remediate security, configuration, and architectural issues

• Collaborate with Security Engineering and Infrastructure teams on Active Directory hygiene initiatives

• Design and implement security hardening best practices

• Support identity and access management initiatives, including privileged access models

• Automate administrative and security tasks using PowerShell

• Participate in Active Directory recovery, migration, consolidation, backup, and restore activities

• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and industry frameworks

• Work closely with technical and business stakeholders across international teams

What We’re Looking For

• 7–10+ years of hands-on experience as a Security Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or Active Directory Engineer

• Strong expertise in:

  • Active Directory architecture (forests, domains, replication, DNS, Group Policy)

  • Active Directory security hardening

  • Tiering, ESAE (Red Forest), PAM, and Identity & Access Management

  • Microsoft Entra ID hybrid environments and ADFS

  • PKI and Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS)

  • Kerberos authentication

  • PowerShell scripting and automation

  • Active Directory backup, disaster recovery, migration, and consolidation

  • Security auditing and compliance (preferably NIST and DORA)

• Experience working in large enterprise environments

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Strong communication skills and fluent English

Nice to Have

• Advanced Microsoft Azure / Microsoft Entra ID expertise

• AWS experience

• Previous experience in banking or financial services

• Location: Remote from Europe (preference for candidates located in the Baltic region)

• Travel: Paid onsite visits to Baltic offices approximately once per month (2–3 days)
