Senior Security DevOps Engineer (100% remote)

DevsData LLC is seeking a Senior Security DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing fintech company focused on building a robust digital trading and investment platform. This role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work within an international team on high-traffic, compliance-driven systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure identity and access management strategies across cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters using RBAC and ABAC models.
• Implement privileged access management solutions to eliminate long-lived credentials and ensure secure, temporary access to production environments.
• Secure containerized environments by enforcing Kubernetes security best practices, including network policies and workload isolation.
• Integrate security scanning and testing tools into CI/CD pipelines to detect vulnerabilities throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Promote Security as Code practices by automating security policies, infrastructure configurations, and real-time monitoring.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Security, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
• Proven experience working with high-traffic systems or regulated environments within the financial sector.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes security, container orchestration, and cluster hardening techniques.
• Strong understanding of cloud identity systems, modern authentication protocols, and Linux security mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
