Senior Security Dev Ops Engineer (100% remote)

DevsData LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing fintech company focused on building a robust digital trading and investment platform. This role offers the opportunity to work within a fully remote, international environment, contributing to high-availability systems that demand top-tier security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the DevSecOps roadmap, embedding security across the full SDLC and architecting controls aligned with industry frameworks.
• Harden Kubernetes clusters and manage security posture across cloud environments, ensuring infrastructure integrity.
• Design and enforce security gates, including SAST, SCA, and DAST, within CI/CD pipelines to maintain software supply chain security.
• Implement identity and access management solutions, including Just-In-Time access, RBAC/ABAC models, and secrets management.
• Lead security incident response efforts and collaborate with SRE teams to integrate security into reliability workflows and disaster recovery protocols.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security Engineering, or a related security-focused infrastructure role.
• Proven track record in regulated, high-availability environments such as fintech, banking, or payments.
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes security, cluster hardening, and workload isolation techniques.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Ansible, combined with security scanning integration.
• Programming expertise in Go or Python for security automation, alongside solid experience with major cloud providers like AWS, GCP, or OCI.
