Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

Key responsibilities

• Design and build web applications in Ruby on Rails, including relational database design.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write automated tests that cover edge cases and ensure overall reliability.
• Review code with high standards, ensuring quality regardless of whether a person or AI wrote it.
• Collaborate directly with clients to clarify requirements and present technical solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, caching, and message brokers.
• Practical knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and automated testing frameworks like RSpec.
• Ability to critically review AI-generated code and integrate AI tools into daily tasks.
• Fluent English and Polish, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
