Senior Recruiter, Water Infrastructure - A/E/C Industry required

Apex Companies is a rapidly growing consulting and engineering firm dedicated to shaping communities and protecting the environment. We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our team and play a pivotal role in identifying top-tier talent within the water infrastructure and civil engineering sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from conducting intake meetings with hiring managers to extending final job offers.
• Proactively source and recruit high-performing technical professionals in the engineering and environmental services industry nationwide.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and provide detailed summaries to hiring teams to ensure high-quality candidate selection.
• Coordinate interview schedules and maintain consistent, professional communication with all stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
• Ensure accurate data tracking within the applicant tracking system and maintain compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience recruiting specifically for Water, Wastewater, Drinking Water, or Stormwater Engineers.
• Proven expertise in candidate sourcing, networking, and building relationships within the A/E/C industry.
• Strong interviewing skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to take ownership of recruitment goals in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience recruiting for Transportation, Highway, or Land Development roles is considered a strong advantage.
